Gurning lions!
Strangely intriging, I’d like to see more, perhaps with some contextualisation, to extend the sense of studies (zoological). Love the stretched real sound, maybe go further and have sound and visual synched to give a sense of individual sounds.
Like it.
again very weird. like the sound, sounds slow, like the people are struggling. i like the theme of what happens between thought and expression, and slowing the film down really expresses that.
Another great piece! Really like the sound, and the editing is great some perfect shots expressing your theme, could maybe add more clips of different people in your own time and develop this idea further?
Such an original idea – an aspect of human behaviour that I’ve never really considered. The sound and image work brilliantly together, and create altogether quite uncomfortable viewing. The man licking his lips is especially strange.. I wonder what he would make of seeing himself in this way?
