‘Cities’ 12.1MB 1 min
Music by labor42
Cities was developed through manipulated photographs using photoshop, the images there then imported into Director to create an animation before being imported into final cut to place the multiples side by side.
The photographs used document my movements through Leeds City Centre on a morning and a evening, the pace of the video changes this represents my changing in pace as i move through the centre.

Another amazing piece of work Jess! You never fail to deliver. I really like the use of the Photoshop filter and the multiple screens. You’ll have to show me how to do it some time. 😀

This seems like a excellent method of advancving the ideas opened up in your acetate drawing model. Would like to see video and model making being shown together through installation.

The music goes really well with the action of the images. It’s like the heartbeat of the city. Love it

I love the clarity of the outlines which I think the filter emphasises really well. The music depicts the busy rhythm of the city.
